PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source for lighting which efficiently radiates heat generated in a light emitting module by a low cost heat radiation member, and to provide a lighting device.SOLUTION: A light source for lighting includes: an LED module 10; a globe 20 covering the LED module 10; a driving circuit 30 for causing the LED module 10 to emit light; a heat sink 40 enclosing the driving circuit 30; and a housing 50 having an outer shell part 51 enclosing at least part of the heat sink 40. The heat sink 40 comprises heat transfer pieces 40a to 40d. Each of the heat transfer piece 40a to 40b has: a first heat exchanger plate 41 to which the LED module 10 is fixed; and a second heat exchanger plate 42 which is formed so as to be folded from the first heat exchanger plate 41 and faces an inner surface of the outer shell part 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
