<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scavenging performance monitoring system optimizing a stroke parameter of a scavenging stroke of a longitudinal directional scavenging type 2-stroke large diesel engine. <P>SOLUTION: This large diesel engine includes a piston longitudinally operably arranged between the bottom dead center and the top dead center along a sliding surface in a cylinder, and fuel is sent into the cylinder of the large diesel engine by an injection nozzle. A scavenging slot is arranged in an air supply area of the cylinder for supplying a predetermined quantity of scavenging, and an outlet valve is arranged in a cylinder cover of the cylinder for exhausting combustion gas. Fresh air is sucked by an exhaust gas turbocharger in an operation state, and is supplied to the cylinder via the scavenging slot under predetermined air supply pressure as the scavenging, and an ignition air-fuel mixture is generated from the scavenging and the fuel in the cylinder. At least a first oxygen sensor and a second oxygen sensor are arranged on the sliding surface of the cylinder for evaluating scavenging performance of the cylinder of the large diesel engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
