<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device capable of facilitating mounting work of a side key, and reducing the thickness of a portable terminal. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A pair of side keys 40, 40 disposed on a lateral plate case part of a fixed rear case in a cellular phone are connected and fixed to each other with a film sheet member 50 that is formed in a substantially identical length to the length of the pair of side keys 40, 40. The connection and fixation of the film sheet member 50 to the pair of side keys 40, 40 are carried out by double-sided tape members 60 and 61 having adhesive surfaces only on both end sides 52, 52 of the film sheet member 50.
