<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method of a fuel cell capable of inspecting the presence or absence of generation of stacking slippage in simple constitution in the fuel cell formed by stacking a plurality of unit cells. <P>SOLUTION: In the fuel cell 10 formed by stacking a plurality of unit cells 12, the inspection method of the fuel cell inspects the presence or absence of generation of the slippage (stacking slippage) between adjacent unit cells 12. The fuel cell 10 having a mark 18 marked in a straight line along the stacking direction on the side surface of the fuel cell 10 is arranged. In a case 20 for housing the fuel cell 10, the case 20 providing a slit 24 capable of confirming visually the inside from the outside along the mark 18 of the fuel cell 10 housed in the inside is arranged.
