A high stress stabilizer (10) for a vehicle enabling excellent durability by increasing the fatigue life of bent parts, wherein where the bend radius of the bent parts (16) is R, a raw material diameter before bending is d, the short diameter of the bent parts (16) in cross section is d1, the long diameter of the bent parts (16) in cross section is d2, and the flatness phi of the bent parts (16) in cross section is phi = (d2 - d1)/d2 x 100, the shape of the bent parts (16) which are generally loaded by the maximum stress and breakable mostly is formed in a state in which the requirements of 0 < phi <= 4 and (phi x d/R) <= 2 are satisfied. Thus, the stress concentration of shearing stress produced at the bent parts (16) when the load is applied to the stabilizer can be suppressed, and the high stress stabilizer (10) can be prevented from being broken by the stress concentration at the bent parts (16).
