The vehicle seat has an oscillating scissor-type stand (3) which consists of an upper frame (7), and two pairs of swings (8a). The former pair of swing is connected at an end by a transverse pipe (18) running in seat transversal direction and is rotatable at the upper frame by a storage device (20). The transverse pipe is locked with the upper frame by a locking device. An independent claim is included for a method for mounting a locking device between a transverse pipe running in a seat transversal direction and a frame of an oscillating scissor-type stand of a vehicle seat, particularly commercial motor vehicle seat.
