<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil seal 1 constructed by fitting the tube section 21a of a second metal ring 21 in the inner circumferential side of a tube section 12a of a metal ring 12 of an oil seal body 11, which solves the problems wherein fitting load to a housing 31 increases, the second metal ring 21 comes out, and man-hours for assembling the oil seal body 11 and the second metal ring 21 are increased. <P>SOLUTION: An oil seal 1 includes: the oil seal body 11 equipped with the metal ring 12 and a seal lip 14 supported by the metal ring 12; and the second metal ring 21 attached to the oil seal body 11, and is constructed by fitting the tube section 21a of the second metal ring 21 in the inner circumferential side of the tube section 12a of the metal ring 12, wherein one or more notches 22 are arranged on the circumference of the tube section 21a of the second metal ring 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
