PURPOSE: A phone book data processing method and a mobile communication terminal therefor are provided to achieve the phone book data processing of each phone book set included in a USIM card. CONSTITUTION: The copy or move of phone book data is requested(S600). A storage position where one or more phone book data sets including at least one kind of phone book data will be stored is selected(S610). The first phone book set is selected among the phone book data sets to the storage position, the residual storage space of the first phone book set is detected(S620). One or more phone book data sets are copied or moved as much as the detected residual storage space(S630).
