The element (B) has an upper covering layer (1), whose free upper surfaces form loading surface (F) on which a load (T) is provided. A lower covering layer (10) forms a closure of the element to a lower side (US) of a vehicle. Cross webs (7, 7a, 7b) are mutually spaced from each other and aligned perpendicular to longitudinal direction (L) of the element. The cross webs sub divide space between the layers into chambers (18). The chambers are filled with foam filling (SF). The cross webs include a larger part of the load on the upper covering layer than that of the foam filling.
