PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce weight by reducing a using gel agent, and to effectively prevent vibration of electronic parts by external vibration by a gel agent. SOLUTION: This electric compressor is provided by blocking up an opening of a motor control chamber 33 filled with the gel agent 41 by a cover, by filling the gel agent 41 in the motor control chamber 33 for storing the electronic parts 35 and 37, by storing the electronic parts 35 and 37 in the motor control chamber 33, by arranging the motor control chamber 33 having an opening upper surface in a metallic housing member 30 and sa resin housing member 31.
