PURPOSE: A key lock preventing device for a steering column lock system is provided to release close state of a lock ring and a lock bar due to restitution force of a leaf spring although the lock ring and the lock bar strongly adhere closely to each other. CONSTITUTION: A key lock preventing device for a steering column lock system comprises a lock ring(30), a lock bar(41), a leaf spring installation part, and a leaf spring. The lock ring is fixed on a steering shaft(20) embedded in a steering column tube. The lock ring has a hanging hole(31). The lock bar is formed in a key cylinder assembly. The key cylinder assembly is installed on one side of the steering column tube. The lock bar is inserted into a hanging hole of the lock ring during drawing out the key. The leaf spring installation part is formed on the end of the lock bar. The leaf spring is installed at the leaf spring installation part. The leaf spring pushes the side of the hanging hole.
