<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control power generation of a fuel cell so as to always supply stable electric power to an outside load while consuming residual hydrogen inside the fuel cell and without causing emergency stop when the outside load is suddenly decreased or regenerated. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell power supply system includes a fuel cell generating electric power with hydrogen and oxygen, and a control device. The control device determines a fuel cell output current target value I<SB>CMD</SB>according to a request load of the fuel cell power supply system, sets a fuel cell output current command value I<SB>REF</SB>according to the target value I<SB>CMD</SB>, and current corresponding to the command value I<SB>REF</SB>. The control device, when the target value I<SB>CMD</SB>decreases, treats surplus hydrogen by deceasing percentage reduction of the command value I<SB>REF</SB>which is decreased in accordance with decrease of the target value I<SB>CMD</SB>more than the percentage reduction of the target value I<SB>CMD</SB>, and when the command value I<SB>REF</SB>is made larger than the target value I<SB>CMD</SB>, makes decrease the command value I<SB>REF</SB>in the prescribed percentage reduction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
