<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high density sintered compact having excellent moisture resistance and essentially consisting of strontium oxide and calcium oxide, and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for producing a sintered compact essentially consisting of strontium oxide and calcium oxide, and which comprises: a stage where strontium carbonate powder with the average particle diameter of 0.01 to 15 μm and calcium carbonate powder and/or calcium hydroxide powder with the average particle diameter of 0.01 to 15 μm are mixed, and the mixture is pressurized, so as to form a molded body having a relative density of ≥50%; and a stage where the molded body is sintered in the temperature range of 1,200 to 2,400°C, so as to form a sintered compact. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
