DRILLING TAPPING SCREW AND ITS METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rust prevention coating of a drilling tapping screw with a drill portion for opening a prepared hole of a screw with respect to steel or the like being a fastening reception object integrally formed on a chip of a tapping screw. SOLUTION: The drilling tapping screw and its method for manufacturing are characterized by that a surface of the drilling tapping screw has a zinc alloy plating layer containing a total of 0.1-7 mass% of one or two types of nickel and cobalt and the rest comprising zinc or unavoidable impurities.
