<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flying object collision avoiding system efficiently reducing bird strikes by efficiently scanning a large area, in a wind turbine generator. <P>SOLUTION: This system is provided with the wind turbine generator having a plurality of blades; an obstacle exploration device capable of detecting a flying object around the wind turbine generator; and a blade angle control means for controlling change in an angle of the blades including a rotation stop position. The obstacle exploration device is provided with an imaging device arranged so as to be capable of continuously taking a plurality of types of surrounding images of the wind turbine generator from different angles; and an imaging data analysis device for analyzing imaging data by the imaging device. When the analysis result indicates that a flying object flying toward the blades of the wind turbine generator exists, an imaging control signal for following and imaging the flying object is output to the imaging device. When it is determined that the flying object approaches to the wind turbine generator, the blade angle control means outputs a control signal to change the blades to the rotation stop position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
