METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANAGING AND INTEGRATING A POI

PURPOSE: A method for managing and integrating POI and a system for performing the same are provided to match the POI with tag information by the XML tagging technique and integrate the matched information with map information into a GML file. CONSTITUTION: A GML(Geographic Markup Language) data processor(110) extracts attribute data from data of the GML format, and separates POI(Point Of Interest) data from the extracted attribute data. A POI information processor(130) matches the POI data with tag information of a tag information processor(120), and the performs editing and tagging of the matched POI. A map information processor analyzes map information data. A tag information GML integration unit(150) generates a GML file by the integration of POI data and map information data.
