PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency by not draining dew water of an indoor unit during cooling operation of an air conditioner having the indoor unit and an outdoor unit and using it for cooling of a heat exchanger of the outdoor unit. SOLUTION: In the air conditioner having the indoor unit 3 and the outdoor unit 8, the indoor unit 3 includes a drain pan 4 receiving the dew water and a drain hole 5 below an indoor unit side heat exchanger 1, and a drain hose 9 is provided, joined to the drain hole 5 for sending the dew water to an outdoor unit side. The outdoor unit includes the outdoor unit heat exchanger 10, an ejector 11 connected to another end of the drain hose 9 is provided on the outdoor unit heat exchanger 10, and a blowout part 12 is provided in a bottom face of the ejector 11. The outdoor unit side heat exchanger 10 is cooled by spraying the dew water flowing out from the blowout part 12 of the bottom face of the ejector 11 on the outdoor unit side heat exchanger 10.
