PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin speaker for safely drawing a lead wire, preventing rolling, reducing a reproduction distortion in sound, and enlarging a reproduction frequency band, while having a simple structure. SOLUTION: The speaker 1 includes: an internal magnet-type magnetic circuit 5 having a magnet 2, a plate 3, and a yoke 4; a bobbin 6; a voice coil 7; a first frame 8; a second frame 9; a diaphragm 11; an edge 10; and a damper 14. The diaphragm 11 includes: a front surface part 12 to be joined with the inner periphery of the edge 10; and a side surface part 13 integrally formed with the front surface part 12 and extending toward the diagonally rear part of the front surface part 12. The speaker 1 has strong resistance against rolling by joining the inner side of the edge 10 and the outer peripheral side of the damper 14 with the side surface part 13 of the diaphragm 11. Consequently, the thin speaker is provided, for safely drawing the lead wire 16, preventing the rolling, reducing the reproduction distortion in sound, and enlarging the reproduction frequency band, while having a simple structure.
