The invention relates to an output unit (1) of a refrigeration device, having a niche (4) with a rear wall (13), which is provided with a cover (9), which has a dish-shaped section (10), which is curved inward into the niche (4) and bounded by opposite edge sections (11 a, 11 b), which are connected with a niche frame (5). In order to create a cover (9) for the rear wall (13) of a niche (4) of an output unit (1) of a refrigeration device, which can be installed and dismantled easily and, after it is installed, is fastened in a visually attractive manner, it is proposed that the edge sections (11 a, 11 b) at front supporting surfaces (12a, 12b) of the niche frame (5) are held in contact in an installation end position, in that the dish-shaped section (10) is pulled by fastening means against the rear wall (13) of the niche (4). By these means, it is ensured that the narrowest or most uniform gap possible between the cover (9) and the place of installation is guaranteed and, in addition, fastening means are not visible to the user. The invention also relates to an associated refrigeration device and a method for the installation of an output unit (1) of a refrigeration device at a door (3), especially a furniture door.
