PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for attaching a color optical symbol that can be read with high accuracy to an article. SOLUTION: The apparatus 1a for attaching the color optical symbol to the article 100 is provided with a head 10 and a means 30 for moving the head 10, and/or the article 100 so that the head 10 relatively moves in a first direction, with respect to the article 100. The head 10 is provided with a plurality of nozzle parts 11 to 13 discharge inks of a plurality of colors to the article 100 and fixing means 21a and 22a for fixing ink applied to the article 100, before the ink of the different color is applied by one of a plurality of nozzle parts 11 to 13.
