<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately provide information to an elevator user without impairing an atmosphere in an installation place, when an elevator is installed in an amusement park and the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A character body 16 and an announcement device are installed in a landing 7 of the elevator installed in an amusement part using a predetermined character or its related facility. The character body 16 is normally disposed so as not to be seen from the landing 7, and made to appear in the landing 7 when needed. If predetermined elevator operation by an elevator user is detected, the character body 16 is made to appear in the landing 7, and voice guidance according to the character is carried out from the announcement device, thereby providing information to the user.
