<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply device of high usability capable of detecting water leakage even if hot water is not supplied. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This hot water supply device 1 comprises a bathtub 13, a hot water supply circuit 24 for supplying hot water to the bathtub 13, and a water level sensor 21 for detecting a water level of the hot water in the bathtub 13, and the leakage of hot water in the bathtub 13 is determined when the water level in the bathtub 13 detected by the water level sensor 21 is decreased at a temporal gradient of a predetermined range, and thus the leakage can be detected even if hot water is not supplied.
