摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly practical suspension system for a vehicle. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The system is provided with (a) a pair of arms 48 and (b) a pair of gears 78. (a) The pair of arms is provided so as to correspond to right/left wheels and respectively configured such that the base end part is rotatably held by a vehicle body and the tip is coupled to a wheel holding member so as to oscillate along with changes in distance between the vehicle body and the wheel. (b) The pair of gears keep configured to be attached each to the base end part 60 of each arm via an elastic body 80 and to rotate together with the base end part along with the oscillation of each arm. In a state that the distance between the vehicle body and the right wheel and that of between the vehicle body and the left wheel are equal, relative rotation between the pair of gears is allowed so as to allow the oscillation of the pair of arms without deforming the elastic body. In a state that the distance between the vehicle body and the right wheel and that of between the vehicle body and the left wheel are different, the oscillation of the pair of arms is allowed while deforming the elastic body by inhibiting the relative rotation between the pair of gears against elastic reaction force corresponding to the deformation amount of the elastic body.
