<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swing drive control unit which enhances swing performance by eliminating a shortage of torque during a high load, without upsizing an electric motor and an inverter, and construction machine including the swing drive control unit. <P>SOLUTION: This swing drive control unit controls the drive of the swing mechanism of the construction machinery, which is driven in a swinging manner by the electric motor. The swing drive control unit comprises: a speed command output means for outputting a speed command for controlling the rotational speed of the electric motor, on the basis of the amount of the operation of the operating means of the construction machinery; a rotational speed detecting means for detecting the rotational speed of the electric motor; a drive command generating means for generating a drive command for driving the electric motor, on the basis of the speed command output from the speed command output means and the rotational speed detected by the rotational speed detecting means; and a drive command increasing means for increasing the absolute value of the drive command, generated by the drive command generating means, when an output increasing command for emergency is input into the operating means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
