MOTOR CONTROLLER AND CONTROL METHOD FOR MOTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for improving the reliability to control a motor.

SOLUTION: The motor controller 90 is provided with: a motor 38 having a plurality of input systems 36 and 37 which drive the same rotation axis; an EPS-ECU 32 which controls current flowing through each of the input systems 36 and 37; a first current sensor 44 and a second current sensor 46 which detect current; and a first relay 48 and a second relay 50 which intercept current flowing through the input systems 36 and 37. The EPS-ECU 32 controls the second relay 50 to intercept current flowing through the input system 37 when it is judges that the portion between the input system 36 and the input system 37 is short-circuited based on the current value detected by the first current sensor 44 and the second current sensor 46.
