PURPOSE: A scanning method of bidirectional scanner equipping a magnetic ink letter reader is provided to facilitate and store a file by scanning the identification card of the user. CONSTITUTION: A scanning method of bidirectional scanner equipping a magnetic ink letter reader is as follows. A scan image about a scan object of different thickness is acquired(306). A plurality of images of the scan object of different thickness is generated as one file(310). The scan data about the scan object generated as one file and a plurality of scan images are stored(311).
