PURPOSE: A wood pellet containing shell powder and a manufacturing method thereof are provided as fuel, soil conditioner, or feed admixture. CONSTITUTION: A wood pellet containing shell powder, and burnt oyster shell obtained from the wood pellet, and ionized calcium are constituted as follows. The wood pellet contains shell powder which is prepared by sintering shells, and drying and pulverizing them. The wood pellet comprises 70-95wt% sawdust and the 5-30wt% shell powder. The ionized calcium is produced by collecting the burnt oyster shells and allowing hydration reaction. The sintering temperature of the shells is 300~700°C. The size of the shell powder is 80 mesh or less. The mixture of the 70-95wt% sawdust and the 5-30wt% shell powder is extruded in an extruder.
