PURPOSE: An image forming method and an apparatus thereof are provided to prevent the operation of the whole system from being stopped although a problem is generated in an accounting server. CONSTITUTION: An image forming method comprises the following steps of: requesting user authentication from image forming apparatuses connected with a network(420); receiving account information which corresponds to the user authentication request from one of the image forming apparatuses(450); determining whether to perform predetermined image forming work based on the received account information(480); and performing the image forming work according to the determined result.
