<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for forming an organic light-emitting layer by an applying method, for forming a light-emitting layer having high uniformity in thickness and excellent in light-emitting performance such as luminance or the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The organic EL ink containing a polymer organic EL material and an organic solvent, contains the organic solvent of 9 to 99 parts by weight to the polymer organic EL material of 1 part by weight, wherein the organic solvent contains a solvent whose molecular weight is 150 or more, and whose dipole is 2D or less.
