<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for games allowing a player to continue a game at ease without decreasing excitement and enjoyment of the game by offering a remedy for meeting the desire of the player. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The device for games (card unit 8) carries out a dispensing processing of game media using game values while detecting the specified game state (jackpot) based on information from a game machine 4. The device includes an insurance fee selection means (CPU 30) which lets the players select any of a plurality of insurance fees, an insurance plan subtraction means which subtracts the degree of game values equivalent to the insurance fee selected, a prescribed frequency-of-execution determination means which determines, corresponding to the insurance fee, that the game involved is executed up to the prescribed frequency after prescribed requirements for starting counting are established and an addition means which imposes a bonus charge based on the insurance fee selected.
