<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbocharger system for preventing excessive shaft vibration by maintaining a predetermined damping function even when the property (oil pressure, temperature and viscosity) of lubricating oil to be used is varied, for preventing the dispersion of compressing performance of a turbocharger by holding mechanical loss constant, and for preventing the seizure of a radial bearing by cooling lubricating oil depending on heat variation. <P>SOLUTION: The turbocharger system comprises the turbocharger 10 consisting of a compressor impeller 14 and a turbine impeller 16 connected to each other via a connection shaft 12, the radial bearing 19 for rotatably supporting radial force on the connection shaft, and a bearing housing 20 for supporting the radial bearing, a temperature sensor 30 for detecting the temperature of the radial bearing, a vibration sensor 32 for detecting the shaft vibration of the connection shaft, a boost pressure sensor 34 for detecting the boost pressure of an engine used in combination with the turbocharger, and a lubricating oil control device 40 for controlling at least one of the oil amount, pressure and temperature of lubricating oil to be supplied to the thrust bearing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
