PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid coating method, a liquid coating device, and a method of manufacturing a radiation detector that unite droplets within a predetermined imaging region on a substrate so that no gap occurs therebetween and prevent liquid from protruding from the imaging region. SOLUTION: When the droplets are wetly spread on the surface of the substrate, in the case of defining an advancing contact angle asθa, the discharge volume V of the droplets and a distance between the centers of the adjacent droplets (dot pitch, hereafter)ϕare controlled so that the dot pitchϕand the advancing contact angleθa satisfy the formula (3).
