<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the amount to be disposed by providing a new use, as far a great amount of leather scraps generated at a manufacturing and processing site of fur and leather products. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A gas adsorbent is formed of collagen fiber derived from animal skin which is supported on fiber, and has a function for adsorbing formaldehyde gas and ammonia gas contained in air.
