<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat panel display which is excellent in display quality with less defects due to uneven application, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof, and a design method of lead-out wire. <P>SOLUTION: In the flat panel display including an active matrix substrate in which a plurality of wires led out from a display area are bent at linearly arranged bent parts and routed, the active matrix substrate is subjected to a spin application treatment for applying a liquid material while rotating an insulating substrate having a plurality of active matrix substrates arrayed thereon, and spreading the liquid material by the centrifugal force of the rotation. The angle formed by a direction toward a display area that is the direction of arranging the bent parts and a direction from the rotating center toward the bent part closest to the display area is 8° or more, preferably 15° or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
