<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately recognize motion without falsely recognizing vibration and the like due to carrying of a recognition object device as motion even when motion of small movement is a recognition object. <P>SOLUTION: A motion recognition device is provided with an axial direction detection unit 3 for detecting an axial direction in which a user is likely to be moving along his intended operation based on a feature point of acceleration in each axial direction, and a feature amount detection unit 4 for detecting a feature amount of axial acceleration detected with the axial direction detection unit 3.
