PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed matter which features a feeling of unevenness, a feeling of sophistication and high designability by view and touch and also, is free from a problem of color contamination due to the peeling of a colorant etc. SOLUTION: This printed matter includes at least, a colored base coat layer and a transparent protecting layer formed thereon, laminated on an object to be printed. In addition, the colored base coat layer and the transparent protecting layer contain microparticles, and at least, some of the microparticles contained in the colored base coat layer, are projected from the surface of the colored base coat layer. The average particle size of the microparticles contained in the transparent protecting layer, is greater than the maximum value of height of the microparticle part projecting from the surface of the colored base coat layer, and further, the microparticles in the transparent protecting layer constitute projecting parts on the surface of the transparent protecting layer.
