A PHOTO-BASED ALIGNMENT MATERIAL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DISPLAY SUBSTRATE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A photo alignment material is provided to prevent after image by minimizing the alignment change of an alignment layer and increasing the surface density of the alignment layer. CONSTITUTION: A photo alignment material includes a photoalignment polymer and an organic solvent. The photoalignment polymer is manufactured by polymerizing a diamine-based monomer having at least two photoreaction parts. The photoreaction part is represented by chemical formula 1. A method for manufacturing a display substrate comprises the steps of: forming a pixel unit on a base substrate; forming an alignment film by applying the photo alignment material on a base substrate in which pixel unit is formed; and irradiating light on the base substrate in which the alignment film is formed.
