摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positron emission tomograph capable of providing a clear emission image information of a site receiving an influence of body motion (for example, respiratory motion) in a short period of time. SOLUTION: A first gamma-ray generating in a body, caused by a PET pharmaceutical, and a second gamma-ray emitted from a gamma-ray source and transmitting through the body are detected with a radiation detector. The emission image information (E image information), E<SB>0</SB>, E<SB>1</SB>and E<SB>2</SB>, at each of body motion phases, 0, 1 and 2, which divided a respiration period, are prepared by using each information obtained from the detected first gamma-ray. The transmission image information (T image information), T<SB>0</SB>, T<SB>1</SB>and T<SB>2</SB>, at each of body motion phases, 0, 1 and 2, respectively, are prepared, by using each information obtained from the detected second gamma-ray. Relative displacements, [F<SB>10</SB>] and [F<SB>20</SB>], are determined by superimposing, on T image information T<SB>0</SB>, other image information T<SB>1</SB>and T<SB>2</SB>.
