<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure of a flexible tube to a connector section in an electronic endoscope capable of moving an operation section and an insertion section to an image processor by a small force and retaining the moved state by the small force. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This electronic endoscope 10 is provided with a detachable connector section 15 to a light source device P at the end of the flexible tube 13 extending from the operation section 11 to the opposite side of the insertion section 12, wherein the end portion of the flexible tube 13 and the connector section 15 are connected together via a universal head mechanism.
