<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive fuel cell separator which has sufficient corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, reduces contact resistance, improves power generation efficiency through an ample supply of a reaction gas, and enables reduction in thickness. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell separator is manufactured by forming a gas supply grooves 23 on one surface of a metal board 21 for supplying a reaction gas to an electrode and forming a cooling grooves 24 on the other surface for supplying a cooling medium.
