发明名称 METHOD FOR CORRECTING PIXEL DEFECT OF IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that it is difficult to detect a pixel defect whose level is smaller than a random noise level because a random noise component is superimposed on each of a plurality of dispersed video signals in the video signal obtained by an image pickup device and a detection error is generated in a pixel defect detection signal. SOLUTION: A method for correcting a pixel defect includes: obtaining a deviation of a video signal which is imaged at the same imaging position or an adjacent imaging position and outputted for each dispersed light of a solid-state image pickup device that images each of the plurality of dispersed lights obtained by dispersing an image pickup light and outputs the video signal; comparing the value of the deviation with a predetermined value; and detecting an image pickup device in which the pixel defect is generated among the image pickup devices that image the dispersed light based on a result of the comparison and performing a correction. The method is characterized by storing at least address information of an image frame, deviation value information, and information for specifying one dispersed light among the dispersed lights for the detected pixel defect and determining whether to perform a correction of the pixel defect by using at least stored information.
