<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binding device for strapping a plurality of elongated members in a state in which they are arranged in shipshape manner without unnecessary gaps, which is reduced in its outside dimension and weight, and which is suppressed in manufacturing cost. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the binding device 10, in a state in which a hook ring 54 is hooked by a hook plate 18, an abutment fulcrum part 60 formed in a tightening lever 20 is placed on an outer peripheral face of a pipe bundle 14. While doing so, the tightening lever 20 is pivoted centering a coupling shaft 40 from a released position to a binding position at which a tension sufficient for a band member 16 binding the pipe bundle 14 is generated. Thereby, the pipe bundle 14 formed by arranging a number of pipes 12 in the horizontal direction and vertical direction can be bound with a sufficiently large tension.
