PURPOSE: A device for comparing images, detecting changes and reproducing images and a method thereof are provided to perform image storage and reproduction processes through encoding/decoding processes, thereby largely reducing costs and improving techniques. CONSTITUTION: A device for comparing images, detecting changes and reproducing images comprises the following steps. A stored basic screen or a screen of a previous screen are compared to find and store a difference so that an image is compressed and storage capacity reduction, and increases of transmission efficiency and processing speed of still images and moving images are realized. Analog and digital images are compared by hardware or software to sense a changed difference. The stored changed image is reproduced as a photographing image.
