Provided is a method of manufacturing a screw joint product capable of increasing the life of an external cutting tool and also increasing the life of a chaser. The method including a step of threading a screw joint product after the step of externally cutting the surface of the product is characterized in that the method further includes a step of performing descaling of the surface of the product before external cutting by shot blasting.
