<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the degradation of reading precision in a code image associated with a posture change of a reading apparatus with respect to a medium. <P>SOLUTION: A digital pen includes the first infrared LED 63a and the second infrared LED 63b for irradiating a printed document formed with the code image, with a light, a light emission control part 612 for selecting the LED lighting on when performing a writing operation onto the printed document by a user, an infrared CMOS 64 for receiving a reflected light from the printed document irradiated with the light from the selected LED, and an image processing part 614 for image-processing photoreception results by the infrared CMOS 64, to obtain the code image, for decoding the obtained code image, to find identification information and positional information, for detecting a generation state of void in the photoreception results, and for determining the propriety of switching the lighting-on infrared LED 64, based on detection results. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
