<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twisted pair cable in which the diameter of a conductor is made thin, the outer diameter of insulator is made thin, and the deterioration of strength of the insulator is prevented, while the transmission characteristics are excellent and which can be easily connected to a normal LAN modular plug. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the twisted pair cable 1, a pair core wire 4 is formed by stranding two pieces of compression stranded conductors 3 coated with an insulator 2, two pair core wires 4 are stranded, and an inclusion 5 is arranged between these pair core wires, and shielding layers 6, 7 and a sheath 8 are prepared in the order toward the outer layers on the surroundings.
