<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caliper body of a vehicular disc brake can shorten processing time, and can reduce cost, by necessarily minimizing finishing processing of a torque receiving part. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This caliper body is provided so that the torque receiving parts 3e and 3f are oppositely arranged on the disc turn in side and the turn out side of respective action parts 3a and 3b of the caliper body of a monocock structure of integrally forming a pair of action parts 3a and 3b oppositely arranged by pinching a disc rotor 2 by casting, together with a bridge part 3c of straddling the outside of the disc rotor 2. The torque receiving parts 3e and 3f are provided so that a surface abutting, up to getting a full abrasion state of being abraded up to a use limit from a new article state of a friction pad 9, on a back board 9b in braking is formed as a processed surface K2 for applying the finishing processing after casting the caliper body, and a surface not abutting on the back board 9b is formed as an unprocessed surface K1 still in the cast skin.
