ELECTRIC FIELD COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND MOBILE TERMINAL UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal unit for electric field communication capable of suppressing the consumption speed of a built-in battery to be extremely low.

SOLUTION: The mobile terminal unit 1 includes: a transceiver 9 for performing the electric field communication; a computer 6 for performing data communication with the transceiver and executing prescribed operation processing; a battery 112 for supplying power to the transceiver and the computer; an electromotance excitation coil 15 for receiving an AC magnetic field 16 from the outside and exciting electromotance; and a switch means 12 to be turned on by the electromotance while the electromotance excitation coil is excited to close wiring from the battery to the transceiver and the computer and turned off by the demagnetization of the electromotance excitation coil to close the wiring and shut off the supply of battery power to the transceiver and the computer.
