PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement construction of a steel structure capable of reinforcing a steel member by a simple constitution while suppressing the scatter of a fire in an existing building and reducing work by a qualified person. SOLUTION: Two reinforcing steel plates 22 are individually placed over the whole length in the longitudinal direction of a lower chord member 8 and a diagonal member 10 in contact with flanges 1202, 1204 of angle steel members 12 constituting the lower chord member 8 and the diagonal member 10. The circumference of the two angle steel members 12 are surrounded at a plurality of positions spaced apart in the longitudinal direction by a sandwiched plate 24, a first bracket 30 and a second bracket 32 in the direction vertical to the longitudinal direction of the angle steel member 12, two ends in the width direction of the two reinforcing steel plates 22 are pressed against the corresponding flanges 1202, 1204 of the angle steel member 12, and simultaneously the two angle steel members 12 are pressed in the direction of pressing and fastening the sandwiched plate 24 by the flange 1202 opposite to the two angle steel members 12.
