PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance safety when using hydrogen gas as a carrier gas or a make-up gas. SOLUTION: A column oven 10 has a ventilation door 11 in its upper part, and is provided with a hydrogen gas sensor 24 in its internal space upper part. A control part 26 determines a hydrogen gas concentration in the gas inside the column oven 10, based on a detection signal from the hydrogen gas sensor 24, opens the ventilation door 11 when the concentration is a prescribed threshold value or more, blocks electrification of a heater 21, and closes a valve 17 to stop the supply of the hydrogen gas. The hydrogen gas staying inside the column oven 10 is thereby delivered quickly to an outside to avoid the risk of inflammation, when the hydrogen gas is leaked by loosening of a connection part with a sample vaporizing chamber 12, for example, in a column part 15.
